HANDLING HURDLES IN UTILIZING OF RESOURCES
Sometimes teachers felt frustrated as they had to face lot of problems in teaching-learning situations. All such problems are may be personall or institutional problems and teachers have to find the solutions for this problems.
•If they started writing the problems they faced and noting down them as hurdles. They can understood that all this was a matter of proper planning.
•A positive mindset is necessary to bring about a change. Discussing with each other, they planned how to handle those problems.

Since teacher may face many hurdles in utilization of various learning resources. The nature of hurdles and problems may vary from place to place.
Only the concerned teacher can view the hurdles faced by her from all angles.
What is needed is commitment to identify and utilize various learning resources for effective teaching-learning of biological and physical science by solving the problems coming on the way.
However, a meticulous planning is required to find the ways of harnessing various community resources of learning in order to avoid hurdles on thei way and superficiality of teaching-learning activities.
• Teacher can consider a number of approaches and strategies to transact the concepts using those resources of learning.
• It will be a good idea to make an inventory of local learning resources correlating the concepts of biological science in the beginning of the session.
.Teachers can take help of their colleagues and students in this planning.
•Collaboration of time and expertise within school, between schools and external specialist should be encouraged and promoted.
•Improvised apparatus and science kit can be of great help in improving conditions of experimental work in schools. Many schools, particularly those in rural areas, are poorly equipped with science laboratories.
•The absence of such facilities drastically narrows down subject option for students, denying them equal opportunities for learning andi future life challenges.
•It is hence important that adequate facilities and resources are madei available for all laboratories.
•While elementary schools can benefit from a science corner, secondary and higher secondary schools require well-equipped laboratories.
.Teachers of biological science and physical science should have proficiency in a number of skills required for smooth functioning and managing of laboratory work.
.They need to be resourceful enough to organize and provide first-hand learning experience of science students.
•They should be guided by their knowledge of the learning needs of their students and feel empowered to use a variety of resources of the school and the community.
However, for effective utilization of community and school resources including the laboratory in the teaching-learning of science, it is essential that teacher enjoys a measure of autonomy and flexibility. This can foster the spirit of exploration and innovation.
संसाधनों के उपयोग में बाधाओं को संभालना
कभी-कभी शिक्षकों को निराशा होती थी क्योंकि उन्हें शिक्षण-अधिगम की परिस्थितियों में अनेक समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ता था। ऐसी सभी समस्याएं व्यक्तिगत या संस्थागत समस्याएँ हो सकती हैं और शिक्षकों को इन समस्याओं का हल ढूंढना पड़ता है।
• यदि वे उन समस्याओं को लिखना शुरू कर देते हैं जिनसे वे सामना करते हैं और उन्हें बाधाओं के रूप में नोट करते हैं।वे समझ सकते हैं कि यह सारी स्थिति एक व्यवस्थित योजना थी।
• बदलाव के बारे में लाने के लिए एक सकारात्मक मानसिकता आवश्यक है एक-दूसरे के साथ विचार-विमर्श करते हुए उन्होंने योजना बनाई कि समस्याओं को कैसे संभाला जाए।
चूंकि शिक्षक विभिन्न शिक्षण संसाधनों के उपयोग में कई बाधाओं का सामना कर सकते हैं।बाधाएं और समस्याओं की प्रकृति एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान पर भिन्न हो सकती है।
केवल सम्बन्धित अध्यापक ही उसके सामने आने वाली बाधाओं को सभी कोणों से देख सकता है।
जरूरत इस बात की है कि रास्ते में आने वाली समस्याओं का समाधान करके जैविक और भौतिक विज्ञान के कारगर शिक्षण के लिए विभिन्न शिक्षण संसाधनों की पहचान करने और उनका उपयोग करने का संकल्प लिया जाए।
किंतु मार्ग में बाधक बनने और शिक्षण-अधिगम क्रियाकलापों की सतहीता से बचने के लिए गहन योजना बनाने की आवश्यकता है।
• सीखने के उन संसाधनों का उपयोग करके अवधारणाओं को संचालित करने के लिए शिक्षक कई दृष्टिकोणों और रणनीतियों पर विचार कर सकते हैं।
• प्रोन्नति सत्र की शुरुआत में जैविक विज्ञान की अवधारणाओं के संबंध में स्थानीय शिक्षण संसाधनों की सूची बनाना अच्छा होगा। शिक्षक इस योजना में अपने सहयोगियों और छात्रों की मदद ले सकते हैं।
• स्कूल, स्कूलों और बाहरी विशेषज्ञों के बीच समय और विशेषज्ञता के सहयोग को प्रोत्साहित और प्रोत्साहित किया जाना चाहिए।
स्कूलों में प्रयोगात्मक कार्य की स्थिति सुधारने में सहायक उपकरण और विज्ञान किट बहुत मददगार हो सकते हैं।बहुत से स्कूल, खासकर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में, विज्ञान की प्रयोगशालाओं से अच्छी तरह लैस नहीं हैं।
ऐसी सुविधाओं का अभाव छात्रों के लिए विषय विकल्प को काफी हद तक कम कर देता है और उन्हें और भावी जीवन चुनौतियों को सीखने के समान अवसर से वंचित रखता है। अतः यह महत्वपूर्ण है कि सभी प्रयोगशालाओं के लिए पर्याप्त सुविधाएँ और संसाधन दिया जाए।
• जहां प्राथमिक स्कूलों को एक विज्ञान कोने, माध्यमिक और उच्च माध्यमिक स्कूलों से लाभ मिल सकता है अच्छी तरह से सुसज्जित प्रयोगशालाओं की आवश्यकता होती है।
जैविक विज्ञान और भौतिक विज्ञान के अध्यापकों को प्रयोगशाला कार्य के सुचारू रूप से संचालन और प्रबंधन के लिए आवश्यक कौशल में प्रवीणता होनी चाहिए।
विज्ञान के छात्रों के पहले हाथ सीखने के अनुभव को व्यवस्थित करने और प्रदान करने के लिए उन्हें पर्याप्त रूप से संसाधनों की आवश्यकता है।
उन्हें अपने विद्यार्थियों की शिक्षण आवश्यकताओं के ज्ञान से मार्गदर्शन लेना चाहिए और विद्यालय तथा समुदाय के विभिन्न संसाधनों का उपयोग करने के लिए शक्ति का अनुभव करना चाहिए।
फिर भी, विज्ञान के शिक्षण-अध्ययन में प्रयोगशाला सहित समुदाय और स्कूल संसाधनों के प्रभावी उपयोग के लिए यह आवश्यक है कि शिक्षक स्वायत्तता और लचीलेपन का आनंद उठाएं.इससे अन्वेषण और नवान्वेषण की भावना उत्पन्न हो सकती है।
