Lok Jumbish People's movement for Education for All was launched in 1992 by Govt of Rajasthan with support of Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).
लोक-जुम्बिश भारतीय शिक्षा आंदोलन का 1992 में स्वीडिश इंटरनेशनल डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी के सहयोग से राजस्थान सरकार ने देश के लिए पहला आंदोलन आरंभ किया था।
Lok is a Hindi/Sanskrit word meaning 'people: Jumbish is an Urdu/Persian word meaning 'movement'.
लोक हिंदी/संस्कृत शब्द है जिसका अर्थ है जनता: जुम्बिश एक उर्दू/फारसी शब्द है जिसका अर्थ है 'आंदोलन'।
Together they convey the idea of people's movement, as well as movement for the people.
यह एक साथ लोगों का आंदोलन, लोगों के लिए आंदोलन के विचार को व्यक्त करते हैं।
The goal of Lok Jumbish is for all children to complete at least five years of education and to improve quality.
लोक-जुम्बिश का उद्देश्य यह है कि सभी बच्चों को कम से कम पांच वर्ष की शिक्षा पूरी करनी है और गुणवत्ता में सुधार लाना है।
There is also emphasis on equity considerations: equity between boys and girls, between socially and educationally disadvantaged sections and the rest of society. and between children with disabilities and others.

Provide quality elementary education to all children/girls up to the age of 14 years.
14 वर्ष तक की आयु के सभी बालक/बालिकाओं को गुणवत्तापूण प्राथमिक शिक्षा सुलभ कराना।
To ensure that all children/girls complete their primary education.
यह सुनिश्यित करना कि सभी बालक/बालिकाएँ प्राथमिक शिक्षा पूरी करें।
Strive to achieve the goal of equality in education so as to bring equality between the child and the girl child and between the socially and educationally disadvantaged classes and other sections of society.

Implementation of Phases: चरणों का कार्यान्वयन:
Lok Jumbish has been implemented in following phases :
लोक-जुम्बिश निम्नलिखित चरणों में लागू किया गया
1. Phase I (1992-95) was a pilot phase when strategies were tried out and their feasibility was established.
1. प्रथम चरण (1992-95) एक प्रायोगिक चरण था, जब रणनीतियों का परीक्षण किया गया और उनकी व्यवहार्यता स्थापित की गई।
2. Phase ll (1995-98) coverage of the project extended to a population of about 12 million.
2. दूसरा चरण (1995-98) में परियोजना के कवरेज में लगभग 12 मिलियन की जनसंख्या को बढ़ाया गया।
Implementation of the project took place in blocks, each block with an average population of 1,50,000. The block was divided into clusters of twenty-five to thirty-five villages. NGOs were invited to implement the project at the cluster level.
परियोजना का कार्यान्वयन 1,50,000 की औसत जनसंख्या वाले प्रखंडों में हुआ। खंड को पच्चीस से पैंतीस गांवों के समूहों में विभाजित किया गया था ,क्लस्टर स्तर पर परियोजना के कार्यान्वयन के लिए गैर सरकारी संगठनों को आमंत्रित किया गया।
