Role of Caste System in Education

Suggestions for caste dominance in education of challenging gender equality

Following are the Suggestions for making caste challenging gender education sound and effective agency :

1. Equality :

The castes must feel at heart how they feel when they are treated in a two - fold position and if they do not treat their own caste or other castes as equals with women, they will be victims of the same fate and will be so, as no caste in these disparate conditions will be able to protect their existence for a long time. The framers of the constitution have, while introducing far - sighted views on the subject, declared differences on any ground such as caste, religion, sex, place, etc., as unconstitutional. Moreover, the constitution grants equality to women irrespective of their caste. In such a way, the castes must be able to help in realising this provision of the constitution.

2. Justice -

To protect women from exploitation, they have been given the right to receive justice. Thus, castes that exploit women because of falsity and show, accept the system of justice so that the challenging gender gets justice, not only socio - economic but also academic.

3. Independence :

For the education of challenging gender equality, the constitution gives them freedom as much as men in economic, social, political, religious, cultural, etc., and in some matters the constitution enjoys greater strength and flexibility for the rights of women. The founding fathers were of the opinion that by enjoying all types of freedom, not only women but society would go ahead. In the present day, therefore, let the castes realize that women 's freedom must be ensured if they want to make themselves relevant and important even in the present. With educational freedom, women will not be burdened with any family, community or caste, but will contribute to their advancement.

4. Generosity:

Castes have to give up their narrow feelings in the present day and adopt a liberal and generational approach, because whenever we are conservative and rigid in the name of caste, sex, place and religion, it has been reaped by some external force which has long been brought about by us. When the latter are liberal, they will also be liberal to the interests of women, thereby speeding up education for equality of challenging gender.

5. The Importance of Karma :

The latter are more distinguished by their venerated acts and actions than those of the lower castes, but in the higher castes women and men do not consider manual Labour, which is why their life in appearance is turning empty. Because of the ineffectiveness of the work, women become useless and burdened and their position is declining. In those castes where both men and women work together, the price of disparity is low.

6. Emphasis on Economic Development and Mobility:

All castes should focus on their caste progress, economic development and mobility rather than spreading mutual hatred and non-cooperation. If everyone becomes economically capable, gender discrimination will be reduced, poverty and unemployment will decrease. Due to economic mobility, castes will abandon archaic, superstitions and stereotypes and embrace new patterns in which women will stand shoulder to shoulder with men. Thus, for education for challenging gender equality, castes must focus on economic growth and mobility.

7. Social Order –

Social order is only when there are women in it. If there are no women, then family, caste etc. cannot be imagined. Therefore, the question is, will the universe be able to run in the absence of women? How will a womanless society operate? Of course, women are the pivot of society and creation. Therefore, it should be the primary duty and moral responsibility of every caste to give them proper space and respect. Education for equality of women is very much needed for the smooth functioning of the caste system.

8. Modification of customs and superstitions :

Practices prevalent among castes that hurt the dignity and self-respect of women should be strongly opposed. Some customs have taken the form of superstitions. Therefore, the castes should sit together and find a way out of those superstitions, which will enable not only women, but also these castes to join the mainstream of development.

9. Spread of education and awareness :

The castes must spread education and awareness widely both at the rural and urban levels to ensure the equality of women. Provide adult education and compulsory and free primary level education not only to children, but also to girls. In this awareness, awareness of women and issues related to them must be spread among the jatis for which the means of mass communication can be supported. Thus the castes can play an effective role in the equality of challenging gender by spreading education and awareness.

10. Psychological and social security environment-

The women have fallen victim to poor mentality and insecurity, causing them to helpless themselves without men in every field. Removing women from this psychology is a challenging task for the communities. But education for equality of challenging gender will not be realized unless they are assured psychological security, self - confidence and social security.

11. A policy of cooperation and understanding:

No country at present, however powerful it may be, has to engage with other countries because in the era of globalization and liberalization, each country is interdependent. Thus, the emphasis is currently on the establishment of world unity, peace and understanding. In such situations, even communities should forget the differences and follow a policy of mutual cooperation and understanding. By co-operation and understanding, not only all castes but also their problems and inadequacies will be Shared, which can be solved. When co - operation and understanding is established between individuals of other castes, the development of a collaborative spirit between men and women would make education easier for them to achieve equality and equality.

12. Respect for law and order:

In the Indian democratic system, freedom of all and justice are ensured, but some of the castes ignore the constitutional provisions for their vested interests, which in turn obstructs law and order and assures the people. Such species never progress. All communities must, therefore, co - operate in respect of law and order and its establishment. The freedom that the law has provided to women in all spheres must contribute to the establishment of educational and social commonalities of castes by co - operating with them.

Thus, Caste, which is the mainstay of the Indian social system, functions in controlling society. If castes play a powerful role, the education of equality in challenging gender will be intensified and the elimination of conflicts between castes will create an atmosphere of cooperation and advancement.
